Quick overview

Form factor: The 80HE has an 80% form factor, with F-row keys and arrow keys. The Wooting 80HE is available in ANSI, ISO & JIS

New! True 8kHz polling This keyboard doesn’t just support 8kHz polling but also manages to scan for input as fast, giving users a true 8kHz polling experience.

Sound & Build: Gasket mount A silicone gasket mount holds together the PCBA and switch plate. This absorbs impact better, resulting in a softer feel and less noise when typing.

Case materials: PCR ABS Plastic: the plastic cases are made of post-consumer recycled plastics. Zinc alloy: the Zinc alloy cases are made

New! Lekker V2 switches The 80HE marks the debut of our new Lekker V2 L60 switches, these improved switches are more stable (less wobble) and sound better than our V1 Lekker switches.

Sound & Build: PC Plate A polycarbonate plate softens the overall typing experience by muting more of the higher frequencies and placing an emphasis on "thock".

Sound & Build: Screw-in stabilizers Screw-in stabilizers eliminate rattle to further improve the sound and feel when typing. These stabilizers are also replaceable with most third-party screw-in stabilizers.

New! LED bar This keyboard can communicate with you, and you decide on what it communicates about. The LED bar is something completely new to our keyboards and will get more applications as time goes by.

New! Rappy Snappy

This feature utilizes the analog signal in our keyboards to resolve SOCD. By comparing the press depth of two opposing directional keys, the keyboard is able to prioritize the key that is pressed down the furthest.

New! SOCD/ Snappy Tappy

Snappy Tappy offers different ways for the keyboard to resolve SOCD. By default it sets ‘last input priority’, meaning that when two opposing directional keys are pressed at the same time, the keyboard will only activate the last pressed key, while deactivating the other key.

AdjustActuation.mp4

Regular mechanical keyboards have a fixed actuation point, usually at 2mm. On Wooting keyboards, you can adjust the actuation point on individual keys over the entire switch range (0.1mm to 4.0mm). The reset point is set equal to the actuation point. This eliminates any debounce.

Rapid Trigger changes the actuation and reset point on the fly. Keys will activate the moment they’re being pressed down and deactivate the moment you release them.
