This polycarbonate (PC) switch plate changes the acoustics and feel of your Wooting 60HE or 60HE+. If you plan on using a metal (aluminum). you can remove the “ping” or high frequency resonance produced by the stock steel metal plate.
Sound & Feel
The PC material is softer than the stock metal steel plate, giving an overall softer typing experience. The material also promotes lower frequency sounds and doesn’t resonate with higher frequency sounds.
Along with the PC plate, you receive 2 different sandwich pads that can be sandwiched between the PCB and the PC plate. Each pad has its own effect on the sound profile.
Silicone sandwich pad: Lowers the more mid frequencies and creates shorter, snappier sounds. This results in a more muted experience of the sound profile.
Poron foam sandwich pad: Puts more emphasis on “thick” by muting more of the high frequencies of the sound profile.
Build quality
This PC plate is 1 piece plastic injected with brass nuts embedded in the stand-off. This makes the plate extremely durable and easy to re-screw often.

The ISO version of the PC plate is fully compatible with the Wooting 60HE+ ISO. It’s also possible to install it on the 60HE but you can’t screw in all the standoffs. We’ve tested this and haven’t found any performance issues, but we can’t guarantee you won’t experience performance issues.
The ANSI version of the PC plate is fully compatible with both the 60HE and the 60HE+.
